Have you ever heard of a school that lets you duel with light sabers when Star Wars movies come out? How cool is that?
We always have an end-of-year squirt gun party, kids against teachers. Do you ever see those things in public schools? I think not!
Everybody at Brideun is very nice.
We have a big playground, where we do everything from making a society to digging tunnels.

JOEY
Classes are good at Brideun because I learn new and interesting things.
Teachers are nice.
No acid pits to fall into.

I really like all of my teachers.
I have made friends here.

Classes are the right size. The rules are clear.

My school is very fun. Many projects including writing stories and building castles go on throughout the year. At recess we dig holes and make huts. Also, every so often, we have Break-out days. These are great days.

One of the things that is right about Brideun is that everybody is different. Everybody has different learning abilities, and the classes are small.

At my school you don't have to call your teacher by Mr. or Mrs.
We don't have to wear uniforms.
You can decide if you want to go outside or stay inside.

Brideun has the best picked staff I have seen.
The level of individuality lets one be creative.
The playground makes our creativity triple what it would be at another school.
You can dig holes and forts to daydream in.

NICK
Autistic kids like me have a school they can go to and fit in, not be attacked.
We learn how to function in the real world and cope with our problems.
The teachers are understanding and great to be around. They are flexible when a student needs accomodation.
The teachers are also wonderful friends. They get along great with the students and they are the people I wish I could be with through college.

They understand me at my school.
The teachers are really nice.
They give me work at my own level.
There are really good electives.
Erin (my teacher) gives me a hug when I need one.

The things that are right about my school are: friends, the study hall, teachers, students, food (we can eat when we are hungry), games, prizes and learning.

It is nearly impossible to list everything that is good about our school. Brideun has a very fun and informative curriculum.
Here at Brideun we have amazing and highly skilled teachers.
One of Brideun's other great qualities is the open system. You can sign up anytime to meet with the director.
At Brideun you can negotiate with your teachers and the school on the amount and length of work, and even suggest new projects.

They know how to treat our kind of kids.
It has an amazing principal.
